Verifying Your Business for Calls & Texts
Once phone calls are activated, verifying your business helps ensure your phone calls & text messages successfully reach your clients without being blocked or marked as spam by phone carriers.
If your business is located in the U.S., we recommend verifying your business if you do any of the following through Mangomint:
Make phone calls to clients.
Send text messages to clients, whether they are manual or automated (including non-marketing flow text messages).

Because of widespread issues surrounding spam and robocalls, if your business calls or sends texts to U.S. phone numbers, phone carriers require specific information about your business so they can verify your business is legitimate.
Once phone carriers verify your business, your calls & texts will successfully reach your clients without being blocked or flagged as spam.

If your business is unverified:
Calls you make through Mangomint may be labeled as spam by phone carriers. The client will see on their phone that the call is likely spam, causing them to not answer.
Texts you send to clients through Mangomint, including booking confirmations and appointment reminders, may not be delivered. Unverified businesses who send any text messages to U.S. numbers can be blocked from doing so by phone carriers.
You will not be able to transfer (port) your phone number from another carrier to Mangomint if needed.
If your business is verified:
You can make calls that reliably show up on the client’s phone as coming from a legitimate business, helping to ensure clients answer your calls.
You can send texts to clients as needed and ensure they are successfully delivered, including booking confirmations and appointment reminders.
You will build trust with phone carriers over time, helping to protect your deliverability and ensure your calls and texts always go through.
You will be able to transfer (port) your phone number from another carrier to Mangomint if needed.

Once phone calls are activated, you can verify your business with phone carriers directly through Mangomint using a one-time application.
You only need to complete this application once, even if you have multiple locations or phone numbers. If you change your phone number after submitting your application, your submitted application will remain valid and will not have to be resubmitted.
You will not be charged any fees to complete this application—all fees are covered for you.

To complete your application to verify your business, you must be an Admin user. Open the Settings app and select Business Setup > Phone Numbers.
In the Verify your business phone numbers section, select Get Started to begin your application. You will need certain information about your business to complete the application, including your business address (as listed on tax documents), EIN, etc.

Once you’ve submitted your application, it will be reviewed. The review process can take up to several days to complete.
As part of the review process, you may receive a text message from The Campaign Registry (TCR) asking you to confirm your registration for US A2P Messaging.
If you receive this text message, you must reply Yes within 24 hours. If you do not reply within 24 hours, please contact chat support and request that the message be resent to you.
If you do not receive this text message, then this step is not required for your application.
Once the review process is complete, you will see a green Business Verified badge if you open the Settings app and select Business Setup > Phone Numbers.
