Payment Types
This article covers the different payment methods available for completing a checkout.

Use the Front Desk button to take payments with the Front Desk Display.

Use the Card Reader button to take payments with a card reader connected directly to your iPhone or iPad.

Use the Self Checkout button to allow clients to complete the checkout process directly on their phone. Clients will be sent a text message with a link to add a tip, complete the payment, and view their receipt. Learn more about Client Self Checkout.

Use the Credit Card button to charge the client's card on file or add a new card on file.

Use the Cash button to take cash payments. If the Cash Drawer is enabled, all cash payments (including partial cash payments) will update the cash drawer count.
Mangomint does not trigger cash drawers to physically open.

Use the Check button to take check payments. Admin users can enable or disable this button in Payments & Checkout settings.

You can add custom payment buttons as needed, such as Venmo, PayPal, or other electronic payment apps. Custom buttons can help you track non-integrated payment options.
