Selling Gift Cards in Person
You can sell gift cards and gift card promotions when checking out an appointment or from the Sales app. You can also sell gift cards and gift card promotions online.
When selling gift cards in person, learn how you can order physical gift cards to use with Mangomint if needed.
If you sold a gift card outside of Mangomint, learn how you can manually add the gift card to Mangomint.

To sell a gift card in person for a custom amount, add the client to the sale who is purchasing the gift card.
Select More > Gift Card.

Select Custom amount.

Enter the gift card number or scan the gift card barcode and select Add. Learn how you can automatically generate gift card numbers for in-person sales.

Enter the gift card value. Learn how you can apply a discount to the gift card if needed.

If needed, specify the gift card owner (recipient) and the staff member who sold the gift card. Specifying an owner is helpful if the client is purchasing the gift card for someone else. If no owner is specified, the gift card will be available for the purchasing client to use. Gift card owners can also be updated later via the Gift Cards app by selecting the gift card and using the pencil icon.

Select Go To Payments and complete the checkout as you normally would.
Once the sale is complete, the gift card will not automatically be sent to the specified gift card owner (recipient). Learn how you can manually send a digital copy of the gift card to the recipient if needed.

To sell a gift card promotion in person, add the client to the sale who is purchasing the promotion.
Select More > Gift Card.

Select an available gift card promotion.

If the gift card number is not automatically generated, enter the gift card number or scan the gift card barcode and select Add.
