Requiring a Deposit Using Express Booking™
You can require a full payment or partial deposit to book certain services using Express Booking™.
If you updated your Service settings to require a full payment or partial deposit in online booking, this does not apply to Express Booking™. You will need to update your Express Booking™ settings separately in order to require a full payment or partial deposit when using Express Booking™.
You can require a full payment or partial deposit using Express Booking™ by:
Updating your default Express Booking™ settings: You can require a full payment or partial deposit by default when using Express Booking™. Before sending the link to the client, you can manually disable the payment/deposit requirement if needed.
Updating your Express Booking™ settings per appointment: You can require a full payment or partial deposit as needed when using Express Booking™. Before sending the link to the client, you can manually enable the payment/deposit requirement if needed.
To update your default Express Booking™ settings to require a full payment or partial deposit, open the Settings app and go to Calendar & Appointments > Express Booking™ > Default Settings and enable the Require a payment or deposit to complete booking toggle. Before sending the link to the client, you can manually disable the payment/deposit requirement if needed. If service tax applies, service tax is only charged when the full payment is required.

To update your Express Booking™ settings per appointment and require a full payment or partial deposit as needed, select the gear icon next to the Use Express Booking™ toggle and enable the Require a deposit toggle before sending the link to the client.
