Using Non-Integrated Payment Options

Mangomint’s integrated payment processing is the only payment option that gives you access to certain features, including:

• Cards on file

• Online booking pre-payments & deposits

• Automatic membership billing

• Express Booking™

• Client Self Checkout

Our integrated payment processing:

• Allows you to accept all major credit cards with no monthly charges or hidden fees.

• Automatically triggers the payment on your card reader and closes the sale in Mangomint once the payment is complete.

While you can use a non-integrated payment option with Mangomint if needed, this will require you to:

• Create a custom payment button for your payment terminal.

• Manually collect the payment via your payment terminal.

• Manually update the sale in Mangomint with any tip/gratuity after collecting the payment.

• Manually close the sale in Mangomint once the payment is complete.

Using a non-integrated payment processor

To use a non-integrated payment processor, you will need to create a custom payment button for your processor by opening the Settings app and going to Payments & Checkout > Advanced Settings > Custom Payment Methods.

After creating a custom payment button for your payment processor, you can check out sales by entering the total charge amount directly on your payment terminal.

Once the payment is complete, update the sale in Mangomint with any tip/gratuity and select your custom payment button.

Enter an optional Reference number for the payment. Select Add to close the sale in Mangomint.
