Taking Cash Payments and Calculating Change
This article covers how to take a cash payment and calculate change.
Learn how you can also split payments between multiple payment methods. For example, a client may want to pay $20 in cash and then pay the rest with a different payment method.

To take a cash payment, select the Cash payment button during checkout.

If the Receipt Preview setting is enabled, the client will see a receipt preview on your Front Desk Display while the cash payment is being completed. This preview will include all line items and any offers, memberships, or packages that were applied.
Enter the amount of cash provided by the client in the Amount received field. If the change calculator is enabled, the change will be automatically calculated for you. To enable the change calculator, open the Settings app and go to Payments & Checkout > Advanced Settings > Change Calculator for Cash Payments.
Select Confirm.

The sale will be marked as Closed. If you are using the Cash Drawer app, your cash drawer will be updated automatically.
