Setting Up Hours in Mangomint

There are three different kinds of hours in Mangomint:

• Business hours: Business hours are the hours during which your business is open. However, these hours do not control appointment availability.

• Work hours: Work hours are the hours during which service providers are available for appointments. These hours control appointment availability.

• Visible hours: Visible hours are the hours that are visible on the calendar (when the calendar starts and ends). These hours do not control appointment availability.

Business hours are the hours during which your business is open. These hours do not control appointment availability. Instead, business hours are only used to customize certain phone call and web chat settings.

Work hours

Work hours (schedules) are the hours during which service providers are available for appointments.

For hourly staff members, work hours are used to calculate payroll unless the Time Clock app is enabled. If it is enabled, payroll is calculated based on the hours the staff member clocked in and out.

Depending on their permissions, staff members can manage their own schedules and other staff members’ schedules.

Visible hours

Visible hours are the hours that are visible on the calendar (when the calendar starts and ends). These hours can be different from business hours and work hours.

For example, if your service providers work from 10–6, you can make 9–7 visible on the calendar. This can be helpful if a service provider needs to move one of their appointments slightly before 10 or after 6.
