Enabling Phone Calls

This article covers how to enable phone calls and update voicemail settings.

Before enabling phone calls, you will need to decide which phone number you’d like to use for phone calls in Mangomint.

You can either:

  • Continue using your current phone number in Mangomint.

  • Import a phone number into Mangomint from another carrier. Importing a phone number will replace your current phone number in Mangomint.

To enable phone calls, open the Settings app and go to Business Setup > Phone Calls.

Select Get started to begin the phone call activation process. You will need certain information about your business to complete the process, including business address (as listed on IRS forms), EIN, etc.

Once you have submitted your information, it will be reviewed, and you will be contacted with any next steps. The review process can take up to several days to complete. Until your Onboarding Status is Finished, you will not be able to make or receive calls in Mangomint.

Once your Onboarding Status is Finished, select Edit to select the staff members who should have access to make and receive calls.

To make and receive calls, these staff members will need to:

Admin users will be able to see which staff members are available to make and receive phone calls. Active staff members are available to make and receive phone calls, while Offline staff members are not.

To update voicemail settings, open the Settings app and go to Business Setup > Phone Calls.

Straight to voicemail

When enabled, all phone calls will go straight to voicemail instead of ringing. For example, this can be enabled during times when the business is closed.

Your account includes a default voicemail greeting. You can customize your voicemail greeting as needed.
