Shannon Murray knows what it feels like to be let down by your skin. As a teen, she dealt with painful breakouts. As an adult, red, reactive, and flaky skin replaced them. After years of trial and error, and no real answers, she became a licensed esthetician in 2021 and opened Esthetics With Me in Illinois.

Today, her spa specializes in customized facials, acne treatments, and Brazilian waxing, with a growing team of four certified estheticians.

We sat down with Shannon to hear how she built a client experience rooted in education and care, and how Mangomint helps her deliver it.

The online booking integration was the first thing she noticed. Rather than redirecting clients to a separate site, Mangomint embeds directly on the Esthetics With Me website.

Shannon added her own logo and colors to the booking tool, matching the professionalism of the spa itself and creating an effortless experience for her clients from the beginning. She can customize settings, accept group bookings, and let clients tailor their services with optional add-ons, preferences, and special requests.

Connect for built-in communication

The feature that changed her daily to-dos the most was Connect, Mangomint’s centralized client communication suite. Shannon’s team also uses campaigns every month to send one-time messages to their clients.
