We’re rolling out a new notification system that’ll give you more control over what you’re notified about in-app and via push notifications.
Here are the changes you can expect over the next few weeks:
On desktop, you’ll see a new bell icon at the top of your screen for your in-app notifications.
Clicking an in-app notification will take you directly to that item, such as an appointment or waitlist opening.
Text and email notifications will be replaced with push notifications sent directly from the Mangomint mobile app on your phone or tablet.

On mobile, you can access your in-app notifications from the main menu.

To set up your notifications:
Open your user profile settings and select your Notifications tab.
Choose which appointment activity you’d like to be notified about via in-app or push notifications.
Depending on your permissions, you can also choose to see what’s happening across all appointments, client activity, messages, and phone calls.

These changes will be available over the next few weeks. You’ll see a message in your account once it’s time for you to set up your new notifications. Stay tuned!

Link copiedFaster and easier online booking for returning clientsLink copied
When booking online, returning clients can now receive a code via text — entering it will prefill their name, email, and saved payment details.

Here’s what your returning clients will see:
When they reach the final step of the online booking flow, their phone number will trigger a text with a code to verify it's them. Once they enter the code, the booking form will prefill their saved details like their name and email address.

If a credit card is required for booking, they'll be able to use any credit cards that were previously saved for online booking.

Entering the code is completely optional. Returning clients can save time and skip re-entering their details, but if they choose to ignore it, they can complete their booking as usual.

Link copiedAvoiding gaps just got smarter 📅Link copied
You can now customize how to avoid gaps between appointments in online booking, giving you more control over how your team’s schedules are filled in.
Avoid gaps larger or smaller than a certain amount of time, such as no gaps larger than 1 hour or smaller than 15 minutes.
On empty days, choose whether to offer all available times, or only the first and last available time per shift in the staff member’s schedule.
For bookings with multiple service providers, choose whether to allow gaps to increase appointment availability.
Note: Times will always be offered in online booking that are directly next to existing appointments, regardless of your avoid gaps settings.

These improvements make it easier to create efficient staff schedules without having to manually shift existing appointments to remove unwanted gaps.
To get started, open the Settings app and go to Online Booking > Preferences > Avoid gaps between appointments.

You can now use Cmd + K or Ctrl + K on desktop to go directly to any app in Mangomint.
Whether you need to view the client list, gift cards, or your Settings, you can skip the menu hunting (and your mouse) entirely.
Here’s how it works:
Using a desktop, type Cmd + K (Mac) or Ctrl + K (Windows) from any screen to open the Apps menu. Begin typing the name of the app and press Enter to go directly to that app.
You can even search for an app using the app’s initials only. For example, just type G C (including the space) and press Enter to go directly to the Gift Cards app.

You can now save common responses as quick replies and use them in client conversations (e.g. canned responses or snippets).
Quick replies are a simple way to respond faster and more consistently, without having to type the same message over and over again. Quick replies are also shared across your team, so once a quick reply is created, anyone can use it.

Here are some ideas for quick replies you can create:
Directions and parking instructions
Pricing breakdowns
Your late or no-show policy
Popular treatment recommendations
A thank you message with a link to leave a review
Direct booking links
To get started, open a client conversation. Select the bookmark icon in the message box, or type Cmd + B or Ctrl + B.

You can now track products used during services and automatically charge clients the correct amount based on units used.
Add your products and unit pricing in your service settings, then enter the quantity used during checkout. The total service price gets calculated based on the quantity used, and inventory updates automatically.

This feature is ideal for scenarios like:
Neurotoxins used during an injectables service, where the service price depends on the number of units used
Wefts used during a hair extension installation service, where the service has a set price, but inventory still needs to be adjusted
Sanitary gloves, syringes, or other backbar products used during services that do not affect pricing
Packages & memberships
You can now also set up packages and memberships to give clients product credits to apply toward future services (e.g. selling 100 units of Botox at a discounted price).

How to get started
Just go to any service in your settings, select the Details tab, and enable the This service uses products toggle. Then, you can go to the Product Usage tab to add any products that are used during that service.

To learn more, watch our Product Usage Deep-Dive, or go to the Learning Center.
